What we collect

When you take the quiz, your answers (undertone, depth, chroma, contrast) are stored temporarily in your browser session to display your result. If you choose to purchase the full report, we store your quiz scores, your color season, and your report content in our database so we can deliver and regenerate your report via a secure link.

If you provide an email address during checkout, we store it to send you your report link. We do not use it for marketing without your explicit consent.

Photos

If you upload a photo, it is analyzed in memory to extract your skin, hair, and eye color information. The photo is deleted immediately after analysis — it is never written to disk or stored in our database. Only the extracted color values (hex codes) are retained if you purchase the full report.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe may set cookies necessary to complete the payment flow. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser session storage (not cookies) to temporarily hold your quiz answers and result between pages. This data stays in your browser and is cleared when you close the tab. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics that identify you personally.

Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except as necessary to provide the service (Stripe for payments, our database provider for report storage, and Google's AI API for photo analysis — no photo data is retained by Google beyond the single API call). We use Vercel Analytics for aggregate, cookieless traffic metrics — no personal data is involved.

Data deletion

To request deletion of your data, email us at support@myseasoncolors.com with the email address used at checkout. We will delete your record within 14 days.
