What we collect

When you take the quiz, your answers (undertone, depth, chroma, contrast) are stored temporarily in your browser session to display your result. If you choose to purchase the full report, we store your quiz scores, your color season, and your report content in our database so we can deliver and regenerate your report via a secure link.

If you provide an email address during checkout, we store it to send you your report link. We do not use it for marketing without your explicit consent.

Photos

If you upload a photo to take the quiz, it is analyzed in memory to extract your skin, hair, and eye color information, then deleted immediately — it is never written to disk or stored in our database. Only the extracted color values (hex codes) are retained if you purchase the full report.

If you purchase the full report and choose to generate AI photos of yourself in your recommended colors, your photo is sent to a third-party AI image service to create those images and is not retained afterward — same as above, the original photo itself is never stored. The AI-generated images that result (not your original photo) are saved privately as part of your report so they're there when you come back, and are deleted along with the rest of your report data if you request deletion.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe may set cookies necessary to complete the payment flow. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser session storage (not cookies) to temporarily hold your quiz answers and result between pages. This data stays in your browser and is cleared when you close the tab.

We also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site and to catch broken pages or confusing quiz flows. Both set their own cookies. We don't run any advertising on the site, so neither one is used to build advertising profiles or target ads. See our Cookie Policy for details on each one and how to opt out.

Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except as necessary to provide the service: Stripe for payments, our infrastructure providers for report and image storage, third-party AI services to analyze photos and — only if you use the optional AI photo feature — generate photos of you in your recommended colors, and Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for aggregate traffic and product-usage analytics. No photo data is retained by the AI services beyond the single request needed to process it.

Data deletion

To request deletion of your data, email us at support@myseasoncolors.com with the email address used at checkout. We will delete your record — including any AI-generated photos saved with your report — within 14 days.
